Who we are

"Built By Dusty" is the trade name of Dusty Mumphrey, a sole proprietor based in Tyler, Texas, operating the website at builtbydusty.com. Throughout this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to that business. We are the party responsible for the information described below.

Information you give us

We collect information only when you choose to give it to us:

• Newsletter signups. When you subscribe, we store your email address and the page you subscribed from so we can send you updates and understand what content prompted the signup.
• Service inquiries. When you submit the Start form or book a call, we store the name, email, and any message or project details you provide so we can respond.
• Purchases. When you buy a template or kit, we store your email and order details so we can deliver your files and honor the refund policy.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number and full payment details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our systems. We receive only what we need to fulfill and support your order, such as your email, the items purchased, and a payment confirmation. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how the site is used. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers and may collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and referring source:

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, to measure traffic and whether ads lead to sales. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused, aggregate traffic measurement provided by our host. Governed by the Vercel Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to:

• deliver the files, services, and emails you asked for;
• respond to inquiries and provide support;
• process payments and refunds;
• understand site traffic so we can improve the content and the shop.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers listed here who process it on our behalf.

Service providers

The following third parties process data so the site can function. Each is bound by its own privacy terms:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database and file storage for subscribers, leads, and orders. Privacy policy.
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
• Google — analytics and advertising measurement.

Email and unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes a way to opt out, and you can unsubscribe any time from our unsubscribe page. Transactional messages, such as your order receipt and download links, are sent because they are part of a purchase you made.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations, and no longer than necessary. If you ask us to delete your data, we will, except where we are required to retain a record of a transaction.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email dmumphrey@builtbydusty.com and a real person will handle it. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the site works.

Children

This site is intended for breeders and business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
