001 / Sales & Storefront Platform

A storefront for your animals,
built on your terms.

A custom storefront for selling animals, collecting deposits, and managing buyer waitlists. Built on the same architecture that powers ReptiDex and Breed Ledger, retooled for your species, your program, and your brand.

002 / The problem

The sale is not the algorithm's to make.
It is yours.

Right now most breeders sell through Facebook groups, Instagram DMs, and the marketplaces. Those channels get eyeballs. They give you zero control. No brand presence. No clean way to handle a deposit. No buyer records that survive a logged-out browser. Every sale happens on someone else's platform, where their algorithm decides who sees your animals and which competitor sits next to your listing.

A custom storefront puts you back in charge of the channel. Your animals, your prices, your brand, your buyer relationships. One place that you own, with the records to show for it season after season.

This service is for

Best fit
  • Breeders tired of running the whole sales process through Facebook groups, MorphMarket, or Instagram DMs.
  • Programs that need deposits, waitlists, buyer qualification, and inquiry tracking tied into one system.
  • Breeders ready to build a real sales channel they own instead of renting visibility on someone else's algorithm.

003 / What gets built

Six pieces of a real sales channel.

Tailored to your species, your buyer flow, and the trust signals your program actually relies on. Same architecture that powers ReptiDex.

Professional animal listings.

One URL per animal with photos, genetics data, pedigree, pricing, and availability status. Indexable by Google, shareable to buyers, durable across litters.

Deposit and hold management.

Take real money through Stripe or your preferred processor. Set whether deposits are refundable, partial, or non-refundable. The system tracks who paid what and when.

Waitlist for upcoming litters.

Buyers reserve a place on the next clutch or litter. Automatic notifications when animals become available. Pick order tracked end to end.

Buyer inquiry tracking.

Every inquiry lands in one inbox tied to one buyer record. You know who asked about which animal, what they said, and when you last replied.

SEO markup that ranks.

Schema markup on every animal listing so individual animals show up in Google for the right breed and region searches. Your animals compete on their own URL, not buried inside a marketplace page.

Your branding throughout.

Your program name, your colors, your photography, your voice. Buyers see your studio, not a generic marketplace template. The relationship starts on your terms.

004 / This is not theoretical

I built my own sales platform first.

The first version was the storefront for my own crested gecko program. Every existing option either charged marketplace fees, capped what data I could show, or made my program look identical to every other breeder on the platform. I built the alternative because the alternative did not exist.

The same technology now powers ReptiDex and Breed Ledger. When I build a storefront for you, it comes from the same codebase and the same understanding of what buyers actually ask for.

005 / Why breeders hire me

A working breeder and a senior software engineer.

A · The seller

I have run sales for my own program.

Crested geckos, ABKC American Bullies, breeding rights placements. I know what buyers ask, where the trust gets built, and where the deal falls apart. The platform reflects all three.

B · The keyboard

Nine years shipping production software.

Senior engineer with apps live across iOS, web, and AI integrations. I am the designer, the developer, and the on-call for everything I ship. No handoff between people who never talk to each other.

C · The translation

I speak both rooms.

Most breeder software is built by people who never made a placement. Most breeder-built software falls over inside a year. The brand exists because that gap should not have to be the customer's problem.

006 / Pricing

Custom storefronts start at $5,000.

Starting at$5,000

Diagnostic call is free for builds over $2,000.

Final price depends on the number of animal categories, the payment integration, whether you need waitlist and notification features, and whether the storefront stands alone or pairs with a records app.

What scales the price up

  • Multiple species or sub-populations with different listing schemas
  • Custom buyer-qualification flow tied to your screening criteria
  • Native iOS app in addition to web, or web-only
  • Integrations with your records platform, marketplaces, or registry
  • Multi-user access with seller, assistant, and admin roles

007 / Ready to own the channel

Ready to stop renting visibility on someone else's platform?

Tell me what species you sell, where buyers currently find you, and where the handoff between marketplace and your program keeps breaking. I read every inquiry myself, same day.

008 / Common questions

Questions sellers ask before they start.

Yes. The platform integrates with Stripe (or your preferred processor) for deposit collection. You set the amount, the refund policy, and the conditions. The system tracks payments and links them to the buyer record automatically. No more invoicing by hand.

Buyers fill out a qualification form on your site with their name, contact info, what they are looking for, and any program-specific signals you want to capture. You review submissions and assign pick order. When an animal becomes available, the system notifies the right buyer in order.

Yes. Every animal listing gets a dedicated URL with structured data markup. Google can index individual animals and surface them in search. When a buyer searches your breed and region, your listing competes on its own, not as a row inside a marketplace.

That is yours to decide. Many breeders use marketplaces like MorphMarket or Facebook for discovery, then route serious buyers to their own site for the actual transaction. The marketplace becomes the top of the funnel. The platform becomes the rest of the funnel.
