How it works

One input, full
schedule out.

AAHA defines the puppy vaccination schedule as windows from date of birth. The tool just runs those windows for your puppy's specific DOB. No mystery math.

01

Type the date of birth

Get the exact DOB from the breeder paperwork or vet intake. That one input drives every due date in the schedule.

02

See the full schedule

Four DHPP doses (the puppy series), rabies, and the 12-month boosters. Each shown with the AAHA window and the recommended date inside it.

03

Print, email, or upgrade

Print it for the fridge. Email it to yourself. Or get the paid multi-puppy Excel workbook if you're running a litter and want a permanent record.

Once you've got the schedule

The free tool covers one puppy.
The paid pack covers your whole litter.

The free schedule prints clean and saves to email. If you're placing a litter and want every puppy on their own tab with auto-calculated dates, a Summary view of next-due across all puppies, and a permanent record for the go-home packet, the paid Puppy Vaccination Schedule pack is the upgrade.

Common questions

A few things people
ask about puppy shots.

Yes. The schedule follows the current AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines for the core puppy series (DHPP at 6 to 8 weeks, then every 2 to 4 weeks until 16 to 18 weeks) and rabies (12 to 16 weeks). Always confirm with your veterinarian before each dose — your vet may adjust for breed, region, or individual health factors.

AAHA defines vaccination as ranges, not exact days. DHPP #1 can be given any time between weeks 6 and 8, the next between weeks 9 and 12, and so on. The tool shows the late end of each window by default because finishing the series later (especially the 16-week dose) generates stronger immunity. Your vet schedules the actual day.

Most working breeders give DHPP #1 between weeks 6 and 8, before placement. Use the puppy's date of birth as the input — the tool calculates from there. Enter the dose-given date in the printable or Excel version (paid) if you want the schedule to recalculate from the actual administration date rather than the AAHA window.

No. The schedule generates and prints without any signup. Email is optional at the end — drop your address in if you want a copy sent to your inbox, or skip it entirely.

Non-core vaccines (bordetella, leptospirosis, lyme, canine influenza, rattlesnake) depend on lifestyle and geography, not the core schedule. The free tool covers the core series. The paid Puppy Vaccination Schedule pack at the shop documents the non-core options with regional recommendation notes so you can decide with your vet.

The free tool runs one puppy at a time. For a litter, use the multi-puppy Excel workbook in the paid Puppy Vaccination Schedule pack — it supports up to 8 puppies on individual tabs with a consolidated Summary view of every puppy's next-due dates.
